WECHC & Local Food Banks Food Drive

On September 26th 2020 we are asking residents of West Elgin and Dutton Dunwich to put a canned good (or more) on your porch, deck or driveway by 12 noon and volunteers will come to pick up donations between 12 and 4.

This initiative is a hope to bring some positivity to an uncertain time, re-stock the local food banks before a potential wave two and provide an opportunity to bring the community together.

We are in need of more volunteers to make this a success! We can sign off on any volunteer hours!
You can register to volunteer at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdtE-bLYsdaI9VF-7njtIuQAxW0HxU-2-VlSfKcMrfSFTcO0A/viewform

We are also encouraging the community to share the message by creating your own posters, decorating your house, side walk chalk or anything you can do to spread the message!

We look forward to doing something great for our bigger communities, the smaller surrounding communities and all the rural in between.
